Dr Dana Bezanov-Urban (aka Anoop Kaur) completed her three year BA Honours in Ayurvedic Medicine in September 2002 at Thames Valley University, London, followed by a two-year internship programme at the Ayurvedic Company of Great Britain, London and at the Poornayu Ayurvedic Hospital in Bangalore, India. She also has a BSc Honours in Human Biology from Oxford Brookes University and a PhD in Pharmacy from King's College, London as well as being a certified Kundalini Yoga (Raja Yoga) teacher since 1999. Furthermore, Dr Bezanov-Urban is a member of BAMC (The British Ayurvedic Medical Council), BAAAP (The British Association of Accredited Ayurvedic practitioners and has recently been appointed General Secretary of the BAAP), CMA (The Complementary Medical Association), The NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners. She holds a full professional indemnity insurance and would also like to share that both BUPA and PPP have already honoured claims for Ayurvedic treatments given by registered therapists. She has recently been accepted as the sole Ayurvedic Practitioner for staff at the Kingston Hospital NHS Trust. Dr Dana Bezanov-Urban feels privileged to be able to fuse her western scientific knowledge with the ancient eastern health science and philosophy.
